Wunderkind

At five, people called me a ‘wunderkind’ because of my easy mastery of math, music, writing and languages and natural athletic ability. I liked almost any athletic activity I tried, ranging from soccer to some gymnastics, skiing, ballet and horseback riding. Looking back, I think joy had a lot to do with it. I had a very happy early childhood filled with love and beauty and so many good memories, they sustain me even today!

Apart from starting a business, I can’t say I lived up to that potential - yet and even there, I am behind in where I need to be. I hope I do to live up to that in this next year and beyond, or what is the point really? Having potential is not enough. Living up to it is.

So true

I've been going through some old notebooks and I found this quote in there:

Until you make peace with who you are, you'll never be content with what you have.

So true!
