Protecting and caring for animals matters to me. We live in a time where animals live at our mercy. Their survival and ability to flourish require human support and understanding. As a little girl, I loved taking care of animals ranging from squirrels and birds to dogs and cats with my dad. Back then, I intended to be a veterinarian. I also loved lynxes — my favorite animal because of their majestic, amazing presence, remarkable instincts, and intelligence. Today, many years later, I aim to help through animal stewardship in several ways — supporting animal sanctuaries, a growing vet alliance, and worthy animal organizations through sales of my book.
