The visual concepts displayed on this site represent a decade-long creative journey. The physical edition of The Stowaway will feature primarily minimalist interior drawings by the author and a few illustrations by Rachel Walsh and Sija Hong.

The primary digital images for the fantasy series 'The Stowaway' online originate from a collaboration among Matteo Gallinelli, Jan Manon, Angelo Germano, and Giuliano Antonio Lo Re.

While not in use in the book, there is also concept art of ‘Ana in the Water’ first created by Matteo Gallinelli, Angelo Germano, and Giuliano Antonio Lo Re in 2012, followed by a later iteration in a different, richly illustrated style by Sija Hong. We honor this art that helped shape the tone of Ana’s world during development.
