I think sometimes holidays show up right when you need a break. I am guilty of not taking breaks at times and going full speed only to be really tired for quite a while. I am learning how to pace things better and still be very productive.
This past 3-day weekend was wonderful. I took some time off to unwind. It really helps clear the mind.
Some friends of mine visited, which is also great for unwinding and just exploring new things. My friend Björn has been teaching me some Swedish. Ha! So I can expand my vocabulary beyond just 'ost' (cheese).
Now today back at work, I am happy to have this relaxed state of mind. I actually am getting a lot more done and I feel at ease with a clear mind.
So here's to a wonderful productive, happy week ahead! I feel that this year is full of possibility!
