Here's one of my favorites — Admont Abbey in Austria — Benedictine monastery between Salzburg and Graz. This lovely sanctuary for reading has a beautiful late Baroque style with white and rose, gilded accoutrements and light finish, and most importantly, so many books! It’s truly a place of beauty and respite, a haven for the mind and spirit.

Hi! This is a pencil sketch by our Rachel at Elf, for a children's book I intended to write - something lighthearted with good humor. I may still do it.
